How can I amend a reconciled transfer? It needs to be a split transaction.

I know how important it is for your reconciliation to be completed properly in QuickBooks Online. This process is made so much easier when you're using bank feeds, and having all of your transactions accounted for is essential. Mistakes happen, and I'd be happy to explain how you can edit an already-reconciled transaction. 

If you need to edit a transaction that's already been reconciled, you'll have to undo your reconciliation, make your adjustments, and redo it. The best way to do this is through your accountant, as they have the tool that lets them delete a reconciliation in one simple click. If you're not yet connected to an accountant, you can find one in your area here: Find an accountant. 

If you're not using an accountant to help with this process, you'll manually edit each transaction to change the status. Here's a list of steps for what to do: Undo and remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online. Once your changes have been made and you properly classify your transfer transaction, you'll complete your reconciliation again.
