How can i change a linked bank account in quickbooks accounts. i closed a bank account mid year, but quickbooks thinks it is still open.

Welcome to the Community. Sometimes it's necessary to change the bank account in QuickBooks and I'll be happy to show you. QuickBooks makes it a breeze to manage your banking. Our banking modules simplify the way you view your transactions making it easier for you to bring your financials into perspective.

Here's how to disconnect a bank account in QuickBooks: 

1. Click on Banking on the left panel.
2. Click on the Edit (pencil) icon.
3. Select Edit account info.
4. Remove the checkmark beside Disconnect this account on save.
5. Click Save and Close.
