How can I change bank accounts after entry

Thanks for reaching out here.  QuickBooks Online enables you to make the necessary changes to your expenses, so your account remains balanced and aligned.  I would be glad to help!

When an incorrect account has been chosen, you'll need to Find, review, and edit the transaction in the account register.  Here's how to edit your transaction;

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Chart of Accounts

2. Locate the account in question and click Account history from the Action column

Note; You can search through the register to find the transaction, or click on the filter icon and enter the amount or date to minimize your search.

3. Once you find the transaction, click on it, then hit the Edit button

4. Make the necessary changes

5. Hit Save and Close.

Repeat these steps until you have them all corrected.
