Hi there.

It's vital that your reconciliation shows the accurate date. Rest assured, I'd be delighted to assist you with this.

Since you've already completed the reconciliation, changing the reconciliation date won't be possible. Though, you can do either of the following:

  • Leave the date as it is and just make sure to select the correct end date the next time you reconcile (an incorrect date doesn't affect any balances and will not prevent you from future reconciliation).
  • You can undo the reconciliation and then reconcile with the correct ending date. The reconciled transactions in your account register shows (R). We can undo this by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Look for the account on the list and select Account history/View register to get more details.
  3. Open a reconciled transaction (R).
  4. Change by clicking the reconcile status from (R) to blank ( ).
  5. Next, check the rest of the transactions on the list. Then, select the transaction to expand the view and keep clicking until the status is blank ( ).
  6. Click Save.

Moving forward, in case you haven't completed the reconciliation, you can still edit the statement ending date by following these steps:

  1.   On the left panel, click Accounting.
  2.   Click the Reconcile tab.
  3.   Choose the bank account from the Account drop-down list.
  4.   Click the Resume reconciling button.
  5.   Click the Edit Info button located in the upper right-hand corner.
  6.   Change the Ending Balance and Ending Date.
  7.   Click Save.

Follow these steps and let me know how you make out. I'll be on standby in case you need further assistance. Keep well!
