Hi accounting428,

With the Bank Feeds feature in QuickBooks Online, you can connect as many bank or credit card accounts as you'd like to benefit from the automatic download of your transactions. I know how important it is to properly categorize your bank transactions. I'll be happy to share more on this.

Connecting a bank or credit card account in QuickBooks Online enables the system to automatically download your recent transactions in your For review tab. At this point, you can either Add, Match/Find Match, Transfer/Record as transfer, or Record as a credit payment. After completing any of those actions, your downloaded transactions are recorded to your accounts in QuickBooks. Because the Match and Transfer option are independent features, you can't both match and transfer the same transaction. Completing a Match moves your transaction from the For review tab to the Review tab/Categorized tab of the same bank account. As for a Transfer, it moves your transaction from the For review tab to another bank account's (of your choice) records, and if that other bank is also under online banking the transaction will appear in its Review tab too. The Review tab doesn't offer the option to Match nor Transfer as your transactions are already recorded in your chart of accounts when in there. In other words, you can only match transactions in your For review tab. Feel free to review this article for more details on that: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online

I hope this helps to clarify things for you. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have other questions.
