Hi chobson,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! This is where our community comes together to help each other out and share knowledge. I'd be happy to go over how to change a reconciled date range.

Mistakes happen and QuickBooks Online gives you the option to edit and correct these accidents. In order to change the reconcile date range you'll need to either have your accountant delete the entire reconcile from your account or you can remove the transactions from the reconcile so they can be reconciled again. If your accountant removes the reconciliation it removes all trace of it from your account. If you decide to remove the transactions instead it will still show a reconciliation report in your view previous reconciliations. This will have no impact on your account other than the report showing. If you wish to have your accountant remove it they can follow the steps in this article. If you don't have an accountant and wish to do it this way no need to worry, we got your back. You can go to My Accountant>Find a pro to help to find one in your area that can help. If you wish to just remove the transactions you can follow these steps.

  1. Go to the Accounting menu.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Find the account holding the transaction. Then select  Account history.
  4. Select the transaction you want to unreconcile to expand the view.
  5. Review the check column. If the transaction is reconciled, you’ll see an “R.”
  6. Select the checkbox. This changes the letter in the box. Keep selecting it until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Close the account register.

Once the transactions are removed you can reconcile the account again with the correct date range.
