Hi there,

Running your business with QuickBooks Online is an awesome way to save time and effort with your bookkeeping. The bank feed is one of the coolest convenience tools, and it allows you to sync your bank and credit card accounts for easy data entry. If you have a matching transaction in QBO that isn't being detected in the "Find Match" tool, I'll help shed some light on what may be happening.

The most important thing to keep in mind when QBO is searching for a match is the amount recorded. The amount you record in QBO must account for the same dollar and cents as your bank transaction. This may have changed based on service fees if the transaction was processed by a credit card.

The other important detail is the date of the transaction. Ensure this piece of information is a match.

All other details should be the same as well. If all information matches the account in the bank feed, the system should find a match for your transaction.

There's a number of reasons why your account isn't able to find a match for your transaction, and I want to make sure this gets resolved for you. Please reach out to our tech support team so that an agent can share your screen and get you back on track.

Have a great day.
