How to clear boxes to receive bank deposit

I want to receive donors cheques in bank deposit but a name is already entered and I can't clear it

Hi Mwardlow.

Welcome to the community. Being able to record a bank deposit is essential in order to keep your books up to date. QuickBooks Onilne is a great program that offers the ability to record and track your bank deposits in a simple way. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction on how to clear a name from the bank deposit tab. 

You can change the name from the bank deposit by clicking on the drop-down menu to choose another name. I'll explain how.

  1. Click on the + New menu at top left.
  2. Under Other, select Bank deposit.
  3. Click on the drop-down menu to change the name or any other information.
  4. Enter the remaining information of the deposit.
  5. Click on the drop-down menu at the bottom right to Save and close.


Also, I encourage you to clear your browser cache and cookies as they prevent the system from working efficiently.
