how to import bank transactions of a specific period through bank feeds feature

At this time, when downloading bank feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop, the option to chose a specific period when importing bank transactions isn't available. I recommend looking into third party data migration apps.

You can use the converter tool (e.g csv2qbo) as a workaround. It's a one time license.
