Question

I am trying to confirm the deposit in to my account through QBO but it was not a deposit, it was a debit and I'm receiving an error.

Hi there, @lincoln-whittake.

If I may ask, may I know the specific error message you've received when trying to confirm your deposit? This way, I can look into the error more closely and check for any ongoing issues.

If the deposit is showing as a debit when trying to confirm the transaction from the For Review section, you can exclude the entry from there. Then, prepare an Excel CSV file for the deposit. Once done, upload it to QuickBooks manually. You can prepare the deposit in 3 or 4 column format. Here's a screenshot for your reference.

When you're ready to bring the deposit to QuickBooks, use this link as your reference: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

You can also get more tips about confirming or categorizing your entries from this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other questions about your deposit transaction, let me know by adding a comment below. I'm always here to help. Have a good one!
