I am trying to edit an employee the green button to submit changes is vanished. this has been happening a lot and I cannot make any changes

Since QuickBooks Online is a web based program the main cause for loading errors or missing information would be due to problems with the browser. This is usually caused by damaged or corrupt cache and cookies or simply just to many for the browser to run properly. You can clear the cache and cookies on any internet browser by following the steps in this link. If you still have issues after clearing your cache and cookies I'd suggest trying another browser.
