Question

I have not logged in for a couple of months. Now all my data is gone. Bank information is gone. It is like it is a new account with the exception of the company name.

Bank account no longer connected Months of expenses are blank When I click on menu items (dashboard, transactions, sales, expenses, etc) it is what you would see with a new install (get started info etc) The only data that exists is company info

Hi Rolandtgs.

 

Everyone needs a break or vacation every so often but having your account disappear when you do is not something that should happen. I'd be happy to go over reason your account would be blank and how to look into it.

 

QuickBooks Online makes it easy to track any changes to your account by viewing the audit log. In order to see if anything was manually deleted or changed in your account you can go to Gear>Tools>Audit Log. This will show you all changes and entries made in your account and which user made them. If your Audit log is also blank you may be logging into the wrong user account or the wrong company. In order to switch between companies and make sure you have the right one selected you can go to Gear>Switch Company and select one of the companies shown. You can also try a different email you have to see if you have multiple accounts.

 

If you still can't find your company I suggest reaching out to our support team as they can verify your information and pull up your account to look into it. You can reach them by using one of the following steps.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
