I have reconciled 9 months of bank transactions and my bank balance does not match my quickbooks bank balance. What am I missing?

It's great to see you here in Community.  Welcome!  Reconciling your bank account is essential in keeping your books up to date.  I'd be glad to assist!

 

When your bank balance doesn't match the QuickBooks Online amount, it could be due to a few factors, such as the date of your Statement.  Transactions that you've entered into QuickBooks after the date of your statement won't be reflected until your next statement.  There may be transactions that have been duplicated, which would also result in a balance remaining in QuickBooks.  To ensure that your books are accurate, I suggest contacting us outside of Community.  This will provide us the opportunity to work with you directly and rule out any other underlying causes.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
