Question

I Have two companies set up ....the first one would not complete the set up and take my payment how do I delete it?

Hi invoicing-dmjcoa,

 

Welcome to the QuickBooks family!  QuickBooks Online enables access to your accounts for one full year from the date of cancellation, before it's permanently deleted.  This provides you with the opportunity to export data, or return to your account and pick up where you left off.  However, you can edit your User ID, to prevent it from appearing in your list of companies when you sign into your secondary account.  Here's how;

 

1. Sign into the account you no longer need

2. Click on your profile badge in the top right

3. Select Manage your Intuit Account

4. Open Sign in and Security

5. Click on your Email address and enter an email that isn't associated with any other QuickBooks product

6. Edit your User ID in the same fashion, matching it with the email address (recommended)

7. Hit Save
