Question

I have two separate bank transactions summing $5000 and 6 separate expenses summing $5000 in QB. I can't match them, QB can't find matching. How should I match them?

Hi info@nordenseal,

Welcome to the Community. Matching your banking transactions is key to making sure your books are up to date. QuickBooks Online is a great program that offers the ability to simply track your sales and expenses. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction to match your expenses.

I'd encourage you to verify if the expenses recorded in QuickBooks are on the same bank account as the transactions in the banking section.

If the expenses are recorded in the same bank account, the next steps would be to complete some browser troubleshooting steps as cache and cookies can prevent the system from functioning efficiently. I encourage you to take the following steps to perform browser troubleshooting.
.

If the steps provided above don't work, I recommend that you contact our customer support team as they can have a closer look at how to resolve this. Here are some options available to reach out to our team.

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: FacebookTwitter, and InstagramSupport hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET

Feel Free to reach out if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help.
