I just scanned my very first receipt but my name doesn't show under "Payment Account" dropdown menu. How do I register my account without linking my bank account?

Welcome to Community!  Uploading your receipts to QuickBooks Online is a great time saver when you're on the go.  It's important that you're able to upload your expenses effortlessly so you can get back to what you love.  I'd be happy to assist!

QuickBooks provides the option to upload your receipts from your computer, mobile device or from your email account.  You can add an account for the transactions in your chart of accounts by following these steps;

1. Log into your QuickBooks Online account from a web browser

2. Click on Settings ⚙ in the top right and select Chart of accounts

3. Hit the New button

4. Enter the Account type, Detail type, Description, and any other information as you feel necessary

5. Hit Save and close when finished

You're all set!  Your payment account is now listed in your chart of accounts.
