I linked the bank account to QB. I requested from January 1, 2020, it only gave me the past 90 days, how do I go back in and change this?

Welcome to QuickBooks Community. When you connect an account, QuickBooks automatically downloads and categorizes bank and credit card transactions for you. Some banks let you review and download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months.

I see you've already gotten a couple of responses here for your question about getting older transactions from your bank account into QuickBooks Online, but I wanted to take a moment to shed more light on this situation to make sure you have the steps to take moving forward. Luckily, there is a way to upload those older transactions into your books, and I'll go over that here.

As you're seeing with your bank feed connection, QuickBooks Online typically can bring in the last 90 days of transactions from a bank account. Some financial institutions will give you the opportunity to pick a different date range, but the 90 days is just the standard. For instances where you need more data than has been automatically downloaded, you can manually get the data from your banking website to upload into QuickBooks Online.

Take a moment to read through our article Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online and then follow along with the steps to get the file from your bank account and upload it into the program. Once you'd imported the file, you'll be able to sort through, match, and add your transactions as needed.

After taking that step, you'll be able to reconcile the account. Using the bank feeds does what I like to refer to as a "soft" reconciliation because it marks the transactions as "cleared" in your chart of accounts and automatically checks them off in the reconciliation window.
