Question

I manually downloaded Nov, Dec 2022 bank because automatic update would not work. Now bank auto uploads but all the way back to Nov. Should I exclude all the duplicates?

Hi kara-silvesteren,

Welcome to QuickBooks Community!  Duplicate transactions can impact your accounts and cause a discrepancy during the reconciliation process.  QuickBooks Online enables you to remove transactions one at a time, or in bulk.  I'd be happy to help!

Excluding duplicate transactions removes them from the account register and associated financial reports.  Once you've confirmed a duplicate entry, or multiple entries, here's how to exclude them;

1. From the left menu, open Transactions and then Banking

2. Click on the tile for the desired account

3. Open the For Review tab

4. Select all transactions to be excluded

5. Hit Exclude

To permanently delete the items jump to the Excluded tab, select all and then Delete.

Note;  Deleting transactions cannot be undone.  Any transactions deleted in error will need to be recreated.

Here's a helpful guide for your reference.
