I want to change my Mint account to match the userID of my QBSE account but it tells me the userID is taken. I've changed the associated email account in Mint, but it tells me UserID and email don't match, but..., it won't let me update. Options?

You should be able to update or change your user ID, email address, password, phone number, and more by accessing accounts.intuit.com. Right now you're using separate credentials to access Mint and QBSE, so you probably have two separate intuit accounts. There isn't a way to merge the two accounts so that they have the same ID, so this may explain the source of your problem. You'll likely have to continue using the same separate credentials for each account, or re-create one of the accounts and use the option to sign in rather than sign-up so that you can enter your existing credentials and connect the accounts. 

Reaching out to the support line for Mint or for QuickBooks Self-Employed may help get you on the right track.
