Question

if Client paid by credit card and it went into an old bank account which is now closed. How do i get the funds into the new bank account?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payments is a great way to ensure your customers pay in a timely fashion.  It's vital that your bank account information is accurate so you get paid without delay.  I'd be happy to assist!

 

Here's how to edit your bank account for QuickBooks Online Payments;

 

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online in a web browser.  Don't use the mobile app or GoPayments

2. Go to Settings ⚙and then select Account and settings

3. Open the Payments tab. In the Deposits section next to Standard Deposits, select Change next to your existing bank account

4. Choose Add new bank account

5. Enter the Card number of the bank account you want to change to

6. Follow the prompts to enter your login credentials and connect your account

7. Hit Save when you're ready

8. Review the bank account information and make sure it’s selected before completing your request.

QuickBooks will begin depositing customer payments from online invoices to the new account.
