In the last week or so I am not longer able to reconcile payments from my USD Account to my USD Credit Card. It just reappears and will not sync no option to find a match

Hello accounting420,

 

It's great to have you join us here in the Community forum. Based on what you've described here, it sounds like you're looking to match transactions from your banking feed to transactions already in entered in QuickBooks Online. I'd be happy to go over how this process works for foreign currency accounts to make sure that you have the steps you need.

 

For foreign currency bank feeds, the option to Match a transaction will appear only when the program matches specific details in the transactions in the program. For instance, the currency needs to be the same, which you've got covered, and another thing to consider is whether the transaction you're looking to match to is an open transaction or not.

 

For instance, if you have a bill that's already got a partial payment recorded to it in QuickBooks, the program won't pick up the balance as a match for you. The bill would need to have no payments against it and the dollar amounts would need to match. The same is true for invoice transactions.

 

If your payment transactions don't quite fit that, you can exclude them. This doesn't hurt your books. It just means you would have to manually enter the payment against the transaction using the features in the +New icon instead.
