Hello,

Reconciliation is an essential part of running your small business. In order to ensure your books are matching what's showing up in your real-life bank account, it's important to complete reconciliations monthly. I'd be happy to explain how you can undo/delete your bank reconciliation if you've made a mistake and need to start the process over again.

If you have to undo your reconciliation, I'd encourage you to reach out to an accountant. ProAdvisor accountants have the option to undo your reconciliation in the click of a button. Here's the steps your accountant user will follow to undo your reconciliation: Undo your client’s reconciliations with QuickBooks Online Accountant.

If you're not already connected to an accountant, you can search for one in your area here: Find an accountant.

If you're not connected to an accountant and you'd like to undo the reconciliation yourself, you'll have to manually edit the status of each transaction by following the steps listed here:  Undo and remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.

While the manual process takes a bit more time, this will successfully remove your bank reconciliation in order for you to redo it. I'd recommend reaching out to our tech support team if you need any further assistance with this. Our agents have the ability to share your screen remotely, and they can walk you through the steps to make sure everything is done properly.

Cheers.
