Hello All,

I am trying to match two payments I received for Multiple invoices as well as 2 credits.  The total does not match exact and will leave a small balance owing for one of the invoices.

So far I have already:

Received Payment - Selected the invoices and credits to be applied

When in Transactions I go to match Transactions drill down on one of the deposits that went into the bank feed but, the Payment I received does not show in the list for available matching.

Thank you for your time

Hi HeadsHurtin.

Reconciling in QuickBooks Online is a great way to make sure everything is deposited to the right account and no transactions are missing. I'd be happy to help you get your accounts reconciled.

If a payment has been entered but isn't showing up when reconciling can be caused for a few reasons. One reason would be that the payment wasn't posted to the same account or a date outside of your reconciling. I recommend checking the payment to make sure that the date and account are correct.

Another reason it's not showing could be due to corruption or damaged cache and cookies in your internet browser. I recommend clearing your cache and cookies by following this article. Once you clear cache and cookies you should open QuickBooks Online again in a private browser such as Google Chromes Incognito mode.

If this doesn't fix your issue I suggest contacting our support team so they can look into this further. You can reach them using one of the following methods:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social MediaFacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
Support hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.

Have a great day
