Matching multiple bank payments to one bill

Dear Quickbooks Community,

 

I can match multiple bills to one bank payment. How can I do the reverse: matching multiple bank payments to one bill ( Say for bill value is GBP 100, payments made from the bank as £50, £40 & £10  =£100).

Thanks for reaching out here.  QuickBooks Online makes it easy for you to record and make bank deposits so you can reconcile your accounts seamlessly.  I'll be happy to provide more information so you can accomplish your QuickBooks goals!

 

Making a bank deposit often includes multiple payments with one total.  Making individual records for the payments won't match how your bank records the deposit.  In QuickBooks Online you can combine the transactions to ensure your records are aligned with your real-life bank deposit.  To do this successfully, you'll need to put the associated transactions into your Undeposited Funds account and then use a Bank Deposit to combine them.  Here's a helpful guide for your reference.

Dear QB Team,

 

Thanks for your reply. Sorry if I make you any confusion. Actually, two Expenses of 360.00 & 76.8 were made from the bank to a bill of British Telecom ( BT)  of 436.80 as you can see on the attachment.

 

My question is that how can I pay this bill ( or match them in QB ) of 436.80 from the two bank expenses of 360.00 & 76.8.
