Hey donna_17,

The bank feed is an awesome feature that helps you save a tremendous amount of time. Not everyone wants to use this feature, and that's perfectly OK! QuickBooks Online is designed to make your accounting simple, whether or not you wish to have a direct connection with your bank account. I'll be glad to help sort this out.

If the bank account is already connected, you can disconnect it in just a couple easy steps:

  1. From the left menu, select Banking, then Banking.
  2. Select your bank account.
  3. Select the pencil ✎ icon.
  4. In the Account window, select Disconnect this account on save.
  5. Select Save and close.

You can learn more about this process, as well as how to delete an account, with this handy article: Disconnect or delete an account from the Downloaded Transactions page

If you'd like to take advantage of the added convenience, without being directly connected to your bank feeds, you can easily import bank transactions by uploading a file. Take a look at this article if you're interested: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
