Question

My client sent an e-transfer payment to xxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxx.xxx because it's right next to my business name. Did QB just take my money? how to change this?

Hi christina32,

Being paid on time is imperative for all business owners. QuickBooks Online makes getting your invoices to customers easy so you can get paid faster. I can help go over e-transfers with you.

If your client sent an e-transfer to the wrong email I recommend they contact their bank to see if there is any way to cancel the transfer. At this time there isn't a way to change the email address that is sent with the invoice. I'd suggest sending feedback to our developers by following these steps:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions then select Next.
  3. You'll be provided a list of suggested Help articles related to your comment. You can read through them or select Skip and send message.
  4. From the drop-down, choose the appropriate category, then select Send message.

Hope this was able to help!
