Single bank deposit

We don't invoice/bill clients using QBOnline but I want to record a single bank deposit. Is there an easy way to do that (without using Undeposited Funds)? (new to QBOnline)

Welcome to the Community! QuickBooks offers the option to record bank deposits. I would be happy to provide some information on how you can get started!

 

Here's how you can record bank deposits in QuickBooks Online:

 

  1. Click on "+ New" then chose "Bank Deposit".
  2. From the Account drop-down, go to the account you want to put the money into.
  3. Select the checkbox for each transaction you want to combine.
  4. Make sure the total of the selected transactions matches your deposit slip. Use your deposit slip as a reference.
  5. Hit "Save and new" or "Save and close".
