Question

There are two bank accounts connected and they are the same account. How do I fix this problem, and correct any entries that have been entered twice?

The account is the same but named two different things. I have multiple transactions in there that have been recorded twice for example, vehicle payment

Thanks for reaching out to us in the Community. It's important you're able to connect your bank account correctly so you can bring your finances into perspective using QuickBooks. Rest assured, I'll be glad to point you in the right direction. 

 

In order to fix the issue you've described above, I recommend disconnecting one of the unwanted bank account. Here's a helpful article that shows you how to: Disconnect accounts connected to online banking in QuickBooks Online. In case you come across duplicate transactions, you can delete them by following the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Banking menu.
2. Click on the For Review tab.
3. Select the checkbox of the transactions to exclude.
4. Hit Exclude.
