Good evening, taniahess-telus.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support. I'd be happy to help.

QuickBooks Online Accountant provides the option to unfile your sales tax when you need to. Let me show you how!

  1. From the left menu, select "Taxes".
  2. Select "Sales Tax".
  3. Select the "Returns" tab.
  4. Locate the sales tax filing that you'd like to unfile.
  5. Under the "Action" column, open the drop down menu to view options.
  6. Select "Undo filing".
  7. A window will appear asking Are you sure you want to go back? Review the information displayed and select Undo filing.
  8. A notification will appear next to your open filing, highlighting the date that the return was reopened.

Note: This feature is only available within the QuickBooks Online Accountant version.

Here's a guide for reference,
