What happens if only change the account name of a reconciled transaction (no change to amount or taxes)?

I'm here to share some details about editing the account name of a reconciled transaction in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can change the account name of reconciled transactions without any issues. However, in case you need to make changes to transactions in your past reconciliations, please be careful as your accounts and other reconciliations may no longer balance due to changes. It will also impact the starting balance of your subsequent reconciliation.
