Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online is a dynamic program with the features you need to complete your daily tasks with peace of mind.  Connecting your banks account can be done seamlessly.  I'll be happy to provide more information so you're on the right track with your work.

You can add a new account to your Chart of Accounts and enter account numbers, or edit a current bank account to include an account number.

Here's how to turn on account numbers;

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings

2. Open the Advanced tab

3. Click on Edit ✎ in the Chart of accounts section

4. Turn on Enable account numbers. If you want account numbers to show on reports and transactions, select Show account numbers

5. Select Save and then Done

Follow these steps to assign an account number;

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Chart of accounts

2. Locate the account and click on the ▼ dropdown in the Action column

3. Select Edit

4. Enter the account Number

5. Hit Save and close when finished
