Hey Haleyr.

Getting your books to balance is essential for business owners. Reconciling an account is the best way to make sure nothing was missed. It's great that you are making sure your reconcile is correct and I would love to help you get this resolved in your QuickBooks Desktop!

Once you submit that your account is reconciled in QuickBooks, it will no longer allow you to edit that reconciliation. The way to make a change would be to delete the reconcile and do it again.

That can be done by following these simple steps.

1. Create a backup copy of your company file.
2. Once done, go to the Banking menu at the top, then pick Reconcile on the drop-down.
3. In the Begin Reconciliation window, select the appropriate account then click Undo Last Reconciliation.
4. A message to back up the company file before undoing a previous reconciliation is displayed. If you have already created a backup, choose Continue.
5. Click Ok when the message Undo Previous Reconciliation has completed displays.

Once you follow those steps you just need to reconcile that account again with the correct dates.

Have a great night!
