What is your bank's name? The information we receive during automatic updates is determined by what your bank or financial institution shares with us and how often they send new information. I'm here to help you resolve this, JL.
Some banks send new information every other day, every week, or on some other schedule. You can manually update your bank if the process appears to be stuck. This will trigger the connection issues prompting for automatic updates. To update manually, follow the steps below:
- Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
- Select Update.
- If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update. You must enter these credentials within 2 minutes of being prompted. Multi-factor authentication is any security precaution that requests more than a single username and password.
On the other hand, if you continue to experience issues, the problem may be related to your bank. You can sign in to your bank's website to check for any ongoing maintenance or service disruptions. (The article provided to log in to your bank's website may be in the US version, but it works the same as the Canada version.)
