Why do some client's banking connections need me to hit update?

Once connected I expect the bank feeds to update automatically, but sometimes it'll say 'updated 10 days ago' and is still connected; I just have to hit the Update button in the top right.

Does it only update automatically when the QBO file and banking tab are accessed regularly?

QuickBooks offers a dynamic banking module that simplifies the way you manage your transactions. I'll be glad to share more info so you're on the right track. 

 

Sometimes it's necessary to manually update your bank transactions on the Banking screen in QuickBooks. In case you may be experiencing browser issues that are slowing down the automatic uploading of your transactions, I recommend clearing cache and cookies.
