Why does my bank feed stop working occasionally

Thanks for reaching out to Community! Having the option to update your bank feed is beneficial to for keeping your books up to date. Once you've linked your bank to QuickBooks Online, updating your transactions should be a smooth process. In this case, there may be underlying conditions preventing the connection with your bank. As you've mentioned, this seems to be occasional. I'd be happy to provide some suggestions! 

 

With this being random and not consistent, it may be related to the browser you're using. Recommended browsers are Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. I recommend clearing cache on your preferred browser. You may also want to try a different browser as well as private or incognito when logging into your QuickBooks Online account. If the issue persists, please reach out to our Support Team for more in depth navigation and troubleshooting in real time so we can get this resolved in a timely fashion. 

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
