Why doesn't the mobile app have the same information as QBO? things that I updated last week and earlier today are not reflected no matter how many times I refresh

Specifically, undeposited funds and my income categories.

It's great you're using the QuickBooks Online mobile app to easily manage your business on the go. I appreciate your proactivity in making sure you have all your info in both QuickBooks Online platforms. I'll be happy to assist you with this.

 

Because the mobile app is an add-on to QuickBooks Online, both layouts are different, and some functionalities are only present in the web browser version of QuickBooks Online. This shouldn't affect your data entry, however. If you're able to see some info in the browser and not in the corresponding section of your app, it could be due to an app-related issue. Temporary internet files that accumulate in your app can sometimes cause bugs in the software.
