Hi there poirierljw,

Thanks for reaching out about your reconciled account. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expenses so you can see the profitability of your business. I can provide some information about reconciled accounts.

if an account is reconciled, and there is a difference between the ending balance of the reconciliation and the account balance of the account in question on the date of end of the reconciliation, the cause would be transactions that aren't marked as reconciled in the account. To see those transactions, you can go to the Transactions section, then Chart of accounts. Find the account in question, then click on the option to view the Account History. In that transaction list, under the header with a checkmark, there are three options, an R, a C or a blank box. Those with a blank box as well as a C aren't yet reconciled, so that would be the ones causing the difference between the reconciliation ending balance and the account balance.
