Connect with QuickBooks: Feature Requests and Bugs

Welcome to Connect with QuickBooks! This thread is your opportunity to ask your questions about features, updates, and bug fixes to the QuickBooks Tier 3 Support Team. 

 

This team includes senior support specialists and engineers with an advanced level of QuickBooks knowledge and insight into the product roadmap. They are the perfect team to answer your questions about if a certain feature is in the works, if a bug is on track to be fixed, or if there is a workaround for something you’re struggling to accomplish.

 

The team will be available on 9/22 from 11am - 2pm PT. Simply post your question as a response to this post and you'll receive an answer as soon as possible.

Thank you all for sharing your concerns about the issues with QuickBooks Desktop crashing. My team has been working through all of the information provided by customers through the community and support and it has been immensely helpful so far.

The root cause of this crash is proving particularly elusive and we're currently working on collecting system logs from affected customers to bring us to a fix.

If you're open to a call, I'd be grateful if we could reach out to you to collect more information on your system setup.

In the meantime, the solutions shared by @lk32 are excellent workarounds to stabilize QuickBooks and prevent crashes while we continue our work.To reiterate, those are:

-Disabling pop-up windows
-Turning off the company homepage screen.

Again, thank you to everyone for keeping the lines of communication open with us. It makes all the difference.
