What does prosperity mean to you?

I am still reeling from the amazing QB Connect event and have one question that I continue to mull over in my head. I was asked on the spot in an interview, 'What does prosperity mean to you?'

Honestly, I was taken a bit off guard as I hadn't put too much thought into it to share a profound thought on the topic. I believe, I answered something of the likes to, "It's an abundance of spirit, when it grows within you, you can then share it with others." Perhaps not as eloquent as this...but the sentiment. I heard a few other fellow vendors...one stuck out and said, 'Happiness'. I love that.

I'm curious...how do you define prosperity?

The luxury of being able to to have comfort in my ability to provide for my family and accomplish my goals. As well as support my family in their goals.

Or the less dreamy, fluffy version. I want to be able to walk into a Porsche dealership, and choose not to buy something because I don't like Porsche, not because I can't afford it.

Thank you @jmisunas for asking this question! I had to really think about how I wanted to put my answer into words.

With financial prosperity, we are able to share the wealth by giving to charity, purchasing items from businesses and supporting our economy. If we focus on building self-love and confidence, that abundance will overflow and we can spread the love onto others.

Thank you for taking a moment to pause and answer from your heart Audrey!  I totally hear you and couldn't agree more. May prosperity bless us both. :)

p.s. So great meeting you at QB Connect! You have such a wonderful energy and am DEFINITELY going to be reaching out to you when I am curating the Napa/Sonoma/Santa Rosa box!

It may be a simple answer, but I think finding wholeness in whatever you do or pursue is prosperity. The world can be a challenging place, some of us will have more financial "success" than others, a few of us might get lucky and know exactly what we want to do with our lives from day 1.

I think if you are satisfied with who you are and understand that being you, in that moment, in that space (all an imperfect exercise) is valuable, then you've found prosperity. It's the lifelong pursuit!

Hey Joanna! I’m so sorry I didn’t get to say hi in person at QB Connect. Every time I came by your booth, you were packed! Good problem to have. (And I’m ready to help with your Portland box!!).

For me, prosperity means alignment. Alignment with what makes my heart sing, with what enables me to provide, with my community, and through service. Thanks for the amazing question!

Hi Joanna! Great meeting and speaking with you at QB Connect. Love this question. For me, prosperity includes ease, laughter, creativity and productivity. And a good night's sleep. :-)

When I was younger I thought of prosperity in a materialistic way. however, now married with two children and running my own business. Prosperity is the luxury of living comfortbaly (vacationing when I want, no luxury cars, bills and mortgage current, and the ability to attend family functions) while working my passion.

Passion is prosperity. Work that passion so that you can become prosperous!

For our bakery to be able to "comfortably" support our families and employee's families and our ministry. :)
