i  have 2 payroll checks that were direct deposit and have cleared the bank but they dont show up on the register

I'm here to lend a hand in finding your missing check in the register in QuickBooks Online Payroll by routing you in the right direction for support.

 

After running your payroll, those direct deposit paychecks will be posted to the bank account during the process. You'll want to check so you can ensure that there are no filters applied to the bank register so you can see all the transactions. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Accounting menu.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Choose the appropriate bank account and tick View Register.
  4. Click the Clear filter/View all option above the table.

 

If you're still unable to see those paychecks, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Payroll Support Team for assistance. They have tools to check further into your account to fix this issue, which is likely caused by a payroll journal synchronization problem that resulted in a missing direct deposit paycheck in the register.
