2% S-Corp Health Insurance in W2 box 3 and 5 QBO

Not sure where I have things wrong, but when I did a year end fringe benefit payroll for our 2% shareholder's insurance premiums it's showing up in W2 box 1, 3, and 5. It should just be in box 1.

It only applied FIT to the amount not FICA, but is still showing in those boxes.

Any help is appreciated.

Glad to have you here in the Community, @accounting62.

I can help you get past the issue with the S-corporation payroll item on your W-2 form.

The way your payroll items affect your tax reporting depends on the Pay Types you selected during the setup. To fix this, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Support Team. They can pull up your account securely and help you in adjusting the liabilities.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Click Talk to a human.
  3. Type your concern.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Contact Us.
  6. Choose either Messaging or Callback.

To ensure that you'll be assisted on time, check out our support hours.
