I have my 2019 Premier file that was used to upgrade to 2022.  I have a client who is being audited and can not locate their 2020 W3 and W2A forms.  Is there a way I can retrieve this form.  Quickbook Desktop.

Generally, if you mark the Automatically create an archive when I e-file or print a checkbox when creating your payroll tax form, an archive is saved in PDF format on your computer. Also, the location of these forms is the same as your company file.

 

To check the saved forms and their location, please refer to these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Employees menu, then choose the Payroll Center.
  2. Click the File Forms tab.
  3. Under Filing History, choose the Saved Filings tab.
  4. A table of all your saved tax forms in PDF format is displayed. Select the link in the SAVED PDF column to open the file and see where the Saved Filings are kept.

 

Once you locate these forms, you can print them already in a PDF form.
