Question

2022 1099's mapping is completely reset from last year

Have been working with QB programs since 1990's and nothing has been more frustrating then these last two years. Went into 1099 today to begin printing and verifying setup and ALL Accounts are unmapped for 1099. This is ridiculous that one of the updates would clear this function.... it should not have to be setup each and every year!

Yes, a lot of people are reporting this.

Some reps have gone so far as to assert that this will happen every year and it's normal. I highly doubt that because it has never been that way before and there's no reason at all for it to be this way.

I think it's a bug. Someone screwed up and they're trying to save face with these assertions instead of just apologizing for their screw-up.

Apparently, because somehow the settings have been lost, the only fix it to re-map your accounts.

@GlinetteC  RE:You can use our Feedback feature to send suggestions to our engineering team about the 1099s setup.

Entering a suggestion to fix a bug is not appropriate. Now that you know about the bug, you should just fix it. There's no need to wait for your customers to ask you to do so.
