Hello there, @Shoemakersville. Let me share some insights about your W-2s that show 99 in box 20 and change it to the correct type.

When filling out Box 20 of the W-2 form, ensure that the name or code where the local wages or tax is being reported is correct, such as your business. Additionally, to ensure that you get the most accurate local tax jurisdictions, obtain the physical address for your employees' home and work locations. If you are unsure about which city, municipal, or school district taxes your employee should pay, contact your local tax agency.

To review your employee's local tax setup, see these articles. It also contains information on how to set up a new work location, remove,

and change your primary work location:

Once you've verified the local tax setup of your employees but still getting the same issue, I highly suggest contacting our Payroll Support Team. They have tools such as screen-sharing (remote access) that can pull up your account in a secure environment and check this for you. They can also perform troubleshooting steps if necessary. To reach them, see this article: Contact Payroll Support.
