Accrual options on arbitrary date

Thank you for visiting the Community. I'm here to help share some information about setting up accrued sick and vacation in QuickBooks Online. I'll also ensure you can forward a request about the option to accrue it based on the desired date.

In QuickBooks Online, you can always change the policy for Sick or Vacation Pay by adding a current balance. This is the number of hours the employee has already earned. Also, the option you currently have is At beginning of the year, each pay period, per hour worked, On the anniversary date, and Unlimited.

Since the option to choose the specific date for accruing sick vacation or personal leave isn't possible, I suggest going to the Gear icon in QuickBooks Online. From there, you're able to select Feedback to submit a request about having the choice as to when the accrued vacation or personal leave will be rolled out. Any recommendations are sent to our engineer for consideration in future updates.
