Hello,

We have a current employee who was a contractor last year.  The problem is that she was not added into QB as a contractor.  Is there still a way to do her 1099 in QBO?

Thanks

Hello there, @-flygirlstaging-.

I've seen that you've posted twice in this forum with the same concern. Don't worry, my colleague has already provided a solution for you to add your employee as a contractor in your 1099. Feel free to visit this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/employees-and-payroll/re-employee-needs-a-1099-for-previous-year-s-contracting/01/1387773#M124096

I'll also add this article to help you make corrections to 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC forms after you e-filed them: Correct or change 1099s in QuickBooks.

I'll always be here, ready to back you up if you require further assistance adding your employee as contractor or other QBO-related concerns. Please let us know any time in the thread. Keep safe!
