Question

Adding multiple payees to an ACH

Anyone figure out a way to split an ACH into various tax agencies via payees? I can split the transaction to categories (federal, state, local tax, social security, etc) but each of those categories actually were payees. Any ideas?

Thank you for joining the Community forum today, jdethomas. I can see how beneficial splitting an ACH transaction into various tax agencies via payees is for your business. Let me share an overview of this feature.

We can only designate a single payee per transaction. There isn't an integrated way to split an ACH to multiple payees. Rest assured our engineers are working nonstop to enhance the product and deliver the best experiences for all QuickBooks users. While we can't configure when the feature becomes ready, you may process an individual transaction per payee.

Additionally, I recommend sending a feature request directly to our product developers so they can evaluate the possibility of incorporating this in future updates.

To submit:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Tap Next to submit.

Once done, our product development team receives and uses your valuable suggestions to improve your QuickBooks experience.
