Adjusting sick and vacation taken

Hello!

I am new to QuickBooks, so please be patient.

I was curious if I can adjust vacation/sick time Hours Used in previous pay periods by editing an employees pay check/stub????

There was no one in this position for 3 months and I would like to "go back" and enter the time taken in the correct pay periods.  

I probably could just adjust the employees balances as of a certain date??

 

I really need to have the employees enter their own time directly into QuickBooks.  Can an employee be assigned a "Manager" that would receive an email and approve in QuickBooks?

I clearly understand your needs concerning QuickBooks Online Payroll. I'm here to assist you further in this matter.

 

Once your paystub was already processed, we don't have the option to edit them. However, we can reach out to our Payroll Support Team so they can look into your setup. They also have resources that can easily walk you through recording prior payroll.

 

Here's how to contact us:

 

  1. Go to the Help ( ? ) menu and click Contact Us.
  2. Enter a brief discussion about the error you encountered.
  3. Click Let's talk and select Get a call back to reach out to the phone support team. 

 

You can check our support hours and types for more information about our availability.  

 

Furthermore, If you require your employee to time tracking for themselves, you can designate them as time-tracking-only users. They are only permitted to enter timesheets for themselves. They will only be able to access timesheets and time reports. See this article for more information: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.

 

Additionally, Intuit offers QuickBooks Time which gives remote workers numerous ways to clock in and out. The system includes tracking, so employers can monitor where remote workers are each day. Want to subscribe? Visit this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/time-tracking/pricing/.
