I double checked the date for 4th Q estimated taxes and it has  1/17 on the IRS site.  Why is QB posting an estimate for 1st Q 2023? https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/what-taxpayers-need-to-know-about-making-2022-estimated-tax-payments

It's great to see you here, @janny4u-. Let's work together to view your estimated taxes for the fourth quarter of 2022 in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

In QBSE, we can automatically estimate your federal tax payments so it's easier for you to pay your taxes. These payments cover your income, Social Security, and Medicare taxes for your self-employed work.

Here's how to view your estimated taxes for 2022:

  1. On your QBSE account, go to Taxes.
  2. Select the Quarterly tab.
  3. From the tax year dropdown, select the 2022 tax year.
  4. We can see our quarterly estimated taxes in the Quarterly estimates box. Locate the Q4 section to view your estimated tax for the fourth quarter.

You'll also want to ensure that your income and expenses are correctly categorized in your Schedule C so they appear in your quarterly estimated taxes.

In addition, we can run reports in QBSE if you want a detailed list of all your transactions, including your taxes. This way, you can have an overview of the different aspects of your business.

Fill me in if you have additional concerns about estimated taxes. We'll be right here to assist you as soon as possible. Have a great day!
