Are there any other businesses out there that are required to report EEOC? We can not find where we can track ethnicity in QBO Payroll.

Hi there, GWNWUPDF. I'll share input regarding handling ethnicity in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

I understand the relevance of effectively managing Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance (EEOC) in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Currently, QBO doesn't have the option to track ethnicity or manage EEOC. I recommend submitting a feature request to our Product Developers. They're open to receiving your insights and suggestions and considering adding them in future product updates. Here's how:

 

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  3. Enter your suggestions and then click on Next.

 

I recommend consulting your accountant for assistance handling EEOC reports. If you don't have an one, you can find a professional on this page: QuickBooks ProAdvisor. You may also search online concerning other businesses that are necessary to report EEOC or inquire this on your accountant.

 

You can also generate payroll reports to gain insights into the financial status of your business or employees.

Thank you for you response. The feedback from the Gear Icon only sends an email stating to chat with us. So it's a loop with no resolution.

I am the accountant and Proadvisor for my company and handle the EEOC reports.

The software should be able to handle basic statistical reporting.

The payroll reports are little to be desired. We would like to pull from multiple tables and are unable to causing us to manually manipulate reports creating room for human error when reporting statistical data to authoritative agencies.

How difficult would it be to add a field to the employee card for other facts such as ethnicity, race, etc?
